The Bedfordshire FA hosted another Walking Football Festival, on Saturday 27th April 2024, at Cranfield Pavilion. An incredible 19 teams entered, from 8 different clubs and more than 170 participants, male and female with ages comprising from 40 to 80 years of age. It was an amazing fun and entertaining day with many quality games being played.

Walking Football is growing at a very fast pace, with more groups and clubs providing the opportunity for people in the local communities to play the game in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. Walking football has many benefits to the physical and mental health of those that play the game, it is a great way of socialising, making new friends and ensuring that no one is alone or isolated in our society.
