Registration

Referee registrations are managed through the Whole Game System (WGS).

How to register

To register, referees will simply need to log in to the Whole Game System, head to the “Referee Administration” tab, select “Start Referee Re-registration” and then follow the steps until complete.

Accessing the Whole Game System

To log into the Whole Game System you will need your FA Number (FAN) or email address and password.
If you do not remember your FAN you can find it here.
If you do not remember your password it can be reset here.

Criminal Record Check CRC

Some referees will find themselves unable to register because they do not hold a valid CRC with The FA. This process will need to be complete prior to registration and details on how to do this have been sent to the individuals concerned by email.

Any referee aged 16 and over that officiates in youth football (U18 and below) must hold a CRC Certificate issued on or after 2nd June 2013.

Registering offline

Offline registrations will only be available to referees without an email address or internet access. Details of how to complete this process will be sent through the post to the individuals concerned.
