Veterans football for players 35 years+

Bedfordshire 9 a-side Veterans League

The Bedfordshire Veterans 9 a-side Football League is an initiative to get more people over the age of 35 back into football. This 9 a-side competition is contested at 4 artificial grass pitches every other Sunday evening. The fixtures are played from 6pm onwards, with 25 minute halves. Please view the fixtures and results HERE

- Format: 9 a-side
- Venues: North/South Divisions
- Day: Sunday Evenings
- League Contact: Chris O Donnell (chris@9aside.co.uk / 07739308889)

The format has been hugely successful with some great football on show and for many it has rolled back the years.

The teams have ranged from a group of youth team manager’s, work mates, old team mates and it has resulted in squad sizes getting bigger as those that have previously hung their boots up have been tempted back into playing the beautiful game.

New teams are welcome to join and now is the perfect time to affiliate to the league for next season.

How to get Involved

We have created a guide to help those looking to set-up a new adult football team. The guide includes helpful information from setting up the team to increasing awareness; so should you be setting up a team in a brand new club or if you are an established club introducing a new adult team we hope you find the guide of use.
