#GroundsWeek, running from 1st – 7th March 2021 is an awareness campaign launched by the Grounds Management Association. It is the first-ever celebratory week highlighting the vital role of grounds staff, volunteers and the role that the broader turf-care sector plays in making sport possible and keeping green spaces accessible.

After one of the most challenging years the industry has faced, #GroundsWeek launches to help inspire, inform and advise on the wonderful world of groundsmanship to inspire the next generation of talent and volunteers. It’s time to raise awareness and celebrate.

#GroundsWeek aims to showcase the amazing work of grounds staff and volunteers – despite amateur sport coming to a grinding halt. It also comes after a year where parks and green spaces have been valuable to the public’s health – with increased use for ‘daily exercise’ and physical activity.
