SSG Celestials Starts Soon
A new and inclusive football club is about to start in the Bedford area; here’s why you should get involved and spread the word now.
SSG Celestials is an exciting new football club for children with SEN and those not involved in grassroots football currently, to play and enjoy the beautiful game. Almost 1 million children have some form of disability in the UK and we are passionate about supporting clubs and organisation to engage these children in the game we all love.
SSG are now doing just that with a fun weekly session where children can have a football club to call their own as well as a chance to make new friends outside the school environment.
Chris Watson (SSG Director) commented: "everyone at SSG are delighted to be involved in the launch and management of Bedfordshire’s first ‘Ability Counts’ community football league in partnership with the Bedfordshire FA . Our excitement is extended in that along side this we will establishing the first youth football club purely for young people with special educational needs and abilities SSG Celestials FC. SSG has a long history as a provider of high quality educational and activity programmes and believe that we can create some wonderful inclusive opportunities in and around Bedford with this new initiative.

ABILITY COUNTS ACADEMY DATES
The organisation are also are creating the first ever community based youth disability football league too! The new ‘Ability Counts Academy’ will be a sister league to that run by the Beds FA, utilising the same format and concept, only this league will engage all the clubs in the county that have not had the opportunity for competition previously.- SUN 10 NOV 19
