Goalability

New Disability Session in Woburn

Woburn & Wavendon FC have announced the launch of their new 'Goalability' football sessions aimed at girls and boys of all ages and all abilities.

They will be the first community-based Disability football session in the West-Bedfordshire area, run by a local grassroots club; reflecting the club's commitment to delivering football for the whole community.

We've been working hard to put everything in place for over a year. I'm indebted to the advice and support we have recieved from the Beds FA but also the inspiration we all recieved from the late Zach Heath.
- Gary Towers, WWFC Vice Chair January 2018

Zach made history last year, as the first person to achieve a Level 1  in a wheelchair with the Bedfordshire FA. Zack's passion and determination to provide opportunity for children with disabilities was instrumental in the setup of Goalability. The club and FA are inspired by his efforts and are proud to honour his memory alongside the support from his family who are still very much involved with the initiative.
