DKD Coaching pride themselves in creating elite athletes, healthy lifestyles and healthy mindsets. Our goal is to provide young aspiring athletes from the ages of 5yr olds - 23yr olds the foundations required to improve and enjoy sport. It is vitally important to us that no matter the level there is a clear pathway to grow not only playing sport but also developing them outside of sport through a blended learning approach. DKD Coaching pride ourselves on providing a fun, safe learning environment in all our services we provide such as DKD Coaching afterschool clubs, development centres, Saturday morning fun sessions, DKD Levelz, Traineeships, 1-2-1 coaching and much more.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for passionate, motivated and enthusiastic football coaches who believe in the development of youth, who are willing to apply the "DKD Coaching" philosophy of coaching.
Supporting the planning and delivery of a high-quality programme ensuring it provides a fun, structured, enjoyable and safe environment for all DKD players to develop within.
To assist with the completion of individual learning reports, giving DKD players feedback on their performance throughout a 6 week term.
Open minded with a willingness to consider and propose innovative working practises
To act as a role model for all of our young players
Liaise with, and maintain open communication with DKD Coaching Directors.
To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the groups being delivered and ensure all registers are up to date
You should have the following:
Experience of working and coaching u5s-u23s players
Minimum Level 1 Award in football
Desirable Level 2 Award in football
Safeguarding Children Certificate
Emergency First Aid
An enhanced DBS check
The ability to travel independently (Driving License & own vehicle)
Contract length: 12 months
Areas - Dunstable, Luton and Cranfield
