A great way to start Girls Football Wee; over 150 girls at Bedford Modern School with England legend Laura Bassett inspiring them for the future. With 61 caps for the Lionesses the girls in attendance were in awe of Laura.

Bedford Modern School held a football festival whereby they invited many local schools to be involved. This was chosen by the Bedfordshire FA as the County's Showcase Event for Girls Football Week. In addition to being chosen as the County's Showcase Event this occasion was also selected as The FA's National Showcase event.

The FA and Disney (who partner The FA for Girls Football Week) Marketing teams were also in attendance to showcase enjoyment on the faces of all the girls.
