Whatever your age, gender, ability, race, culture or background, Bedfordshire FA can provide everyone with the opportunity to participate in football.

Bedfordshire FA governs many Mini Soccer, Youth and Adult Leagues which incorporate over 400 clubs, and 1300 teams.

3-5 Years

Across Bedfordshire there are many clubs that offer football sessions for children from 3 years old.
The sessions are aimed at budding young footballers and involve learning social skills, colours, numbers and gaining confidence.

FA Skills Programme

Bedfordshire has a group of skills coaches who work within the County to support the growth and development of 5-11 year olds interested in football.

Just Play

Just Play centres are places that are there to do exactly what they say. They are places that people can just show up and enjoy a game of football. It is open to players 16+ to just turn up for a casual kick-a-bout.

Disability Sessions

The Bedfordshire FA strives to provide opportunities for everyone to participate in football therefore the opportunities are open to all abilities.

Ability Counts Leagues

There are not only opportunities to play football, there is also potential for them to progress towards coaching and/or refereeing. This leads into our Ability Counts League, renowned for celebrating disability football and giving people the chance to develop both on and off of the football pitch.

Small Sided

There is a variety of small sided leagues throughout the county. Bedfordshire FA also supports the Football Mash-Up Programme.

Workplace Football

This competition will provide businesses and workplaces the opportunity to compete in quick-fire 11-a-side fixtures unlike anything available before.

Veterans

The Veterans 9-a-side Football league is designed to offer people over the age of 35 a opportunity to continue playing or get back involved with football.

Walking Football

Walking Football is a new and exciting version of football ideal for the over 50's (but available to all). There are a range of sessions available that are accessible from both the North and South ends of the county.
