Bedfordshire FA are looking for new Council Members to be involved in shaping the future of football across the country.

Bedfordshire FA are currently taking applications for new Council Members, if you have a passion for local grassroots football you could be who we're looking for.

What does a Council Member do?
Council Members are the face of Bedfordshire FA within the community and have a role to protect the interests of local football and to promote the services on offer from Bedfordshire FA.

Becoming a member of council gives you the opportunity to sit on the committees who govern the game and influence decision making. You would also be expected to attend various meetings and support club led events.

What is the time commitment?
Council Members will be expected to

  • Attend 4 council meetings per year

  • Be part of standing committees where local football and proposals are discussed

  • Attend county cup finals

  • Attend member club functions, events and award ceremonies.

In order to put yourself forward, you will need to apply via the online application form linked below. You will need to explain why you are the ideal candidate and provide any documents to support your reasons.

 Applications will be put forward in the next council meeting where current Council Members will vote for the most suitable candidate.
