Stay on the Ball, Master the Ball
The Bedfordshire FA have planned 9 CPD events for the development of coaches within THE county.
All CPD’s are created to support the continuous development of coaches working across different age groups whilst also catering for different stages of their coaching journey
On Wednesday 9th October from 7-9 pm we delivered the first CPD event at Bedford Town FC’s stadium, The Eyrie. The event was a fantastic experience for all 52 coaches in attendance and was delivered by our County Coach Developer - Lee Brown from The FA.
Although the event was open for coaches of all different levels of experiences and age groups to attend, the event focused on coaches that work within the Foundation Phase (age 5 to 11).
The featured topic was “Stay on the ball, master the ball” to demonstrate different ways to encourage our young players to develop their technical ability, express their own creativity and increase confidence while in possession of the ball.
The feedback from everybody who attended was fantastic and very positive. We look forward to our next event at Crawley Green FC in Luton for Level 2 and UEFA B coaches to help develop “planning and practices design.” The event will start at 6:30 pm on Thursday 31st October 2019.
