Hatters face Biggleswade Town in Beds FA Senior Cup Final

The Town host Waders at Kenilworth Road on Monday 26th March, 7.30pm

After winning 1-0 in the semi-final at Bedford Town last night, the Hatters will host Biggleswade Town in the final of the Beds FA Senior Cup next month.

The final against the Evo-Stik South Premier Division Waders, who beat Biggleswade FC in a penalty shoot-out, will take place at Kenilworth Road on Monday 26th March, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

The Main Stand and Enclosure will be open on the night, with entrance via the Maple Road Bridge turnstiles and the Press gate at the Kenilworth Road end of the ground.
Admission will be £8 for adults and £3 for over 60s and under 16s.

The Hatters youngsters have reached the final by winning 3-0 at Arlesey Town and 4-1 at Barton Rovers before Frankie Musonda netted an injury-time winner at The Eyrie.

Biggleswade Town, who are currently just below mid-table in their Step 3 division, knocked out Kempston Rovers (4-1) and Leighton Town (1-0), before edging past their Spartan South Midlands League tenants at the Carlsberg Stadium after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.

Reece Fielding netting their goal inside normal time, then with former Hatters keeper Liam Gooch saving Biggleswade FC’s first spot kick in the shootout it enabled them to progress to the Final 5-3 on Penalties.
