GK Coach Vacancy

Minimum Level 2 Coaching Goalkeepers License Required.
The Advanced Coaching Centre is excited to offer the opportunity for a talented coach to join the Team in the Girl’s Elite Player Pathway as the Lead Goalkeeping Coach.

This fantastic role reports directly to the Centre Manager and offers the right candidate the chance to work with elite players in delivering high quality coaching sessions on a weekly basis.

The Bedfordshire FA Advanced Coaching Centre forms part of this new talent pathway into the Eastern Region Excellence Camps and the England Squads. This new pathway replaces the old PDC / Centre of Excellence structure.

The centre allows talented players to improve their skills through quality coaching run by The Bedfordshire FA and licensed by The FA. Each player benefits from 29 weeks of coaching at Wixams Football Centre on Monday Nights mixed with competitive fixtures representing their area against other regional centres and/or appropriately selected teams.

The Role

As the ACC Lead GK Coach you will be required to deliver a weekly coaching session to the Advanced Coaching Centre Goalkeepers, the centre is run on a Monday Night at Wixams Football Centre (near Bedford) and the role is 2 hours per week for 29 weeks of the season (minimum 25 weeks must be attended).

The position requires you to have the following qualifications/ certifications:
• Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
• Youth Award Module 1 & 2
• Minimum FA Level 2 in Coaching Goalkeeping
• Certificated FA Emergency Aid Course (Dated within 3 years)
• Certificated FA Safeguarding Children (Dated within 3 years)
• FA Enhanced DBS (Dated within 3 years)
• FA Coaches License

The following is also desirable:
• Previous experience coaching Female Players
• Knowledge of the Elite Player Pathway and Women’s Football Pyramid
• Previous experience working for / with the FA

This role is a paid opportunity, structured around hourly pay for training sessions and set fixture payments for Home and Away fixtures. For further information regarding pay please contact Tim.
