Community goes to Wembley

Outstanding individuals were recognised and rewarded for their hard work and passion for grassroots football.

The Bedfordshire FA were pleased award tickets to the The FA Community Shield to those that have made a valuable impact in the community.

Shefford Saints Tigers

Pamela Wyles-Mullen was awarded for providing opportunities for young children with disabilities to play football. Pamela kindly gifted Adam and his Dad The FA Community Shiled tickets because of Adam's great passion that he shows towards football.

Liam Broxup

Liam was awarded for being integral to football in the community. Liam has been busy setting up opporutnities across the game including the Workplace Cup, Cedars Summer League, Walking Football and supporting The FA Peoples' Cup.

Corey Mayes

Corey is a committed referee who officiates locally on Saturdays and Sundays. Where he really earns his stars is refereeing the Workplace Cup and the ever challenging Vets Cup.

They were also joined by our Fantasy Premier League competition winner Diane Trotman. Diane entered a team into the Bedfordshire FA's FPL amongst 75 other participants.
