Thank you for booking to attend the Coaching Conference 2020, please use this the links below to register onto your workshops.

  •  All workshops are first come first served
  • You must register for a workshop in each session (total of 5)
  • Due to the sessions being repeated, your choices for workshop 2 and 3 must be different.
  • If you don't pre-register you will automatically be allocated workshops.

Developing players in the psychological corner
Ideal for coaches in the youth development phase, David Pears will be talking about developing the psychological resilience of players and how to help them deal with frustration, anxiety and mistakes.

Beginning to combine with teammates (part one)
Ideal for coaches in the foundation phase, Peter Sturgess will be demonstrating ways of encouraging players to combine with their teammates.

You can choose ONE of the following workshops

Futsal to develop football
Open to all coaches who are interested in using futsal as a tool to develop football technical and tactical ability of players.

70% ball rolling
Open to all coaches and will focus on using different strategies and interventions to ensure more playtime and engagement.

Physical and physiological
Open to all coaches and is based on the physical and physiological capacity of players, ensuring a better understanding of what is appropriate for each age-related stage.

Finishing in and around the penalty area
Ideal for coaches in the youth development stage, Adrian Forbes will be focusing on the movement of players, technical demands, the link with the psychological corner, dealing with failure and keeping positive.

Beginning to combine with teammates - Part Two
Ideal for coaches in the foundation phase, Peter Sturgess will be demonstrating ways of encouraging players to combine with their teammates.

 

You can choose ONE of the following workshops.

Match analysis to reinforce learning & impact planning
Based on using the match analysis to reinforce learning and to impact planning. It's a great workshop for coaches to learn how to use match analysis efficiently.

Emergency defending
This practical workshop on emergency defending will be looking at how to introduce the defenders and the goal keeper's role in the emergency defending strategy.
