VOLUNTEERS ARE THE BACKBONE OF GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL

Volunteering within football in Bedfordshire

Local football would not survive without the army of volunteers who turn out each week to support the running of the game. They fulfil a huge variety of roles within local football clubs from coaching, refereeing, administration, websites, treasury the list goes on.......

The Bedfordshire FA are proud to support the projects to help local people get into volunteering and local clubs to recruit more volunteers.

Safeguarding and Welfare

SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILITY

Whatever your involvement in football, you have a responsibility to make our game as safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone.

This is particularly true if your role as a volunteer involves working or being with children and young people under the age of 18.

Find out how The FA and the Bedfordshire FA manages safeguarding nationally and locally. You’ll also find detailed information on the game’s safeguarding strategy, and how it applies to you.
