Berks & Bucks 4-1 Bedfordshire
Bedfordshire U18s were beaten by 4 goals to 1 by the Berks & Bucks FA in the annual Doug Frost Memorial Trophy game. This years fixture was played at Newport Pagnall Town FC and it was the home side who came out the blocks quickest and took the lead 6 minutes in when a quick break lead to an easy tap in the Berks & Bucks player. 22 minutes in and Berks & Bucks doubled the lead after a clumsy challenge in the box handed the home side a penalty and it was dispatched well into the top corner. Bedfordshire came right back into the game and had a good shout for a penalty turned down themselves and the home keeper pulled of a couple of good saves. Bedfordshire finally pulled a goal back right on the stroke of half time as Ryan Coote prodded home from a corner. Both sides had their chances in the second half but it was Berks & Bucks who wrapped the game up with 2 headers in the final 20 minutes to lift the trophy.
