The Beds FA are sorry to announce that Anika Leslie-Walker has left the Association having decided to return to her studies. She will be going on to Loughborough University to undertake an MSC in Sport Management.

Chief Executive, Peter Brown, said “During her 2 years with us Anika has made a tremendous impression in her role of Girl’s & Womens’ Football Development Officer. Anika has helped drive the female game forward in Bedfordshire, her enthusiasm and determination will be greatly missed but we wish her all the very best of good fortune for the future.”

Anika said “My time in Bedfordshire FA has been such an enjoyable experience. The County FA has been an excellent organisation to work for; I have developed as an individual immensely during my time here.

The support from Directors, Council, colleagues and FA staff has been excellent.

I would like to thank the Leagues, Clubs and everyone I have come into contact with for all their help over the last two years and wish them health, happiness and success for the future.”

A replacement for Anika is being sought and interviews for the post are scheduled in early September.
