The Bedfordshire FA held Futsal coaching sessions for the football community at Vauxhall Recreation centre and linked in with the University of Bedfordshire’s diverse student base.
Benefiting from the Futsal sessions were 30 players coming from 8 different nationalities. The Futsal session attracted those students who may not have played football before or those who do not currently play organised football. Post the weeks of action the Bedfordshire FA are now working with the University, assisting them in setting up a University Futsal league and also directing students to local 11v11 adult football clubs.
