All promotion candidates will be expected to meet the following criteria:-
- to attend a recognised in service training evening
- to keep the County Assessor’s Co-ordinator informed of all their fixtures
- to referee a minimum of twenty games in adult football during the promotion season
- respond in writing to all correspondence
- receive a minimum of three assessments during the promotion season
For Eligibilty to Level 5
Referees must:-
- have met the above criteria
- have completed 5 games as an Assistant Referee (in the current season)
For Eligibility to Level 4
Referees must:
- have met all the above criteria
- have passed a fitness assessment
- have finished in the top half of the referees league table for the strongest league on which they officiate
- not be a season ticket holder at a professional club
- provide assurances regarding availability
