Bedfordshire FA - developing football for everyone
Get Into Football

FAMOA

We are one community – inclusiveness: all referees are valued. FAMOA is a direct link between The Football Association and all connected with refereeing. With this premise in mind FAMOA should be a vehicle for promoting.

Referee Training

Dissemination of good practice

Developments in the game

Rewards in refereeing

This will then lead to the match officials genuinely being one community as all referees will have been privy to the same information. It is important to us that match officials are fully incorporated in the vision and mission of the FA.

FAMOA exists to support, inform and develop match officials at every stage in their careers. Local activities will be promoted and co-ordinated by the Regional Manager (Referees).

Two newsletters and a journal

The first newsletter clearly has a different function from subsequent ones. It is important to introduce you to FAMOA and to make you aware of the Regional Manager who will be your first point of contact when you need help and advice. The Journal, which will appear in the Spring will contain informed articles on refereeing matters.

There will also be the opportunity for you to contribute to this with either an article, a news item (preferably with photograph) or a letter to the editor.

Regional Managers, County Development Officers, Coaches, etc will be encouraged to submit articles for the newsletter and journal.

The publications will have a balanced approach to national and local news and activities. Regional Managers will compile a report on news and events and each Region will be clearly identified.
