The Bedfordshire FA have teamed up with the University of Bedfordshire to enhance the volunteer workforce within local clubs. During the recent grassroots football survey an overwhelming number of clubs registered interest to have more volunteers on hand for roles that require skill and experience. Help required ranges from accountants, treasury and website designers!
We are pleased to announce that clubs can now register their interest in finding a volunteer qualified to degree level to assist in the development of their club. All volunteers are current postgraduate students and have gone through an interview process with a trial period within departments at the campus. Clubs themselves can also interview possible candidates themselves with help from us here at The Beds FA.
This is suitable for roles which could benefit from developed skills and is in addition to the use of our volunteer corner notice board which is suitable for general roles required by clubs for examples coaches and linesman.
