National Game Strategy July 2008 to June 2012

At both County level and Nationally the FA has now completed year one of the National Game Strategy to 2012.

The Strategy was the result of extensive consultation with partners and stakeholders in the game, which was again, repeated moving into 2009 and the Strategy’s second year.

The following series of GOALS and ENABLERS have provided a platform to take us forward:

Goals

  • Growth and Retention
  •  Raising standards and addressing abusive behaviour
  •  Developing better players
  • Running the game effectively

Enablers

  • Workforce
  • Facilities
  • Marketing and PR

Year 2 National Game Strategy Consultation

Please download from related documents to the right of this page the feedback received from the Consultation events that took place at Crawley Green FC and Bedford College earlier this year.

The headings were provided around the National Game Strategy 2008-2012 and the year 1 achievements (at that time) The attendees were invited to add their thoughts and comments on those achievements and what could make a difference to grassroots football in the County going forward.
