Course Costs
The course costs are subsidised, if a candidate is not eligible for subsidy the candidate will be asked to meet the full cost - based on nationality, residency & age.
Age
If you have not attained the age of 16 years by 1st September 2008 you may not be eligible for funding and incur an additional course fee. Please contact James Slack (01582 567719) to discuss this.
This applies to courses starting between 1st September 2008 and 31st August 2009
Residence & Nationality
To qualify for subsidised course fees you should have been resident in the UK for 3 years and born in the EEA.
The following countries are in the EEA:
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Malta
Netherlands
Poland
Portugal
Slovak Republic
Slovenia
Spain
Sweden
United Kingdom
Iceland*
Liechtenstein*
Norway*
Switzerland**
* These countries are in the EEA, but are not members of the European Union.
** Switzerland is not in the EEA, but an international treaty means that from 1 June 2002 Swiss nationals have a similar right to live in the UK as EEA nationals.
